The alt-right is a dangerous political movement which threatens your communities. Learn about the movement with these resources.

Innuendo Studios #

The Innuendo Studios channel on YouTube has an excellent series called the “Alt-right playbook” which explains many of the strategies used by the alt-right in political discussions.

The “Pewdiepipeline” #

The “Pewdiepipeline” series on YouTube by NonCompete is also a good resource for identifying alt-right and hate group strategies for recruitment and infiltration in Internet communities, and how these strategies are used to enact stochastic acts of terrorism.

Non-violent communication #

Nonviolent Communication” by Marshall Rosenberg is an excellent book which describes a practice of communication based on empathy and mutual understanding of the needs of others.

Dating is intimidating and disheartening for a lot of men. If you’re struggling to form romantic connections, talk about it with us.

SIRC guide to flirting #

The SIRC Guide to flirting is an excellent resource which takes a scientific approach to understanding and explaining flirting, and gives good advice on how flirting works in practice. Designed with men on the spectrum in mind.

Note: this resource presents a biased, heteronormative perspective on flirting. Details about queer relationships, flirting, and social dynamics are absent.

Psychology in Seattle #

Psychology in Seattle is a YouTube channel where a therapist looks at various situations, often from reality TV shows, and describes what advice he would give in a clinical setting if someone came to him with such a conflict or question.

Reading list #

  • Why does he do that, Inside the minds of angry and controlling men – Lundy Bancroft. TW: A frank exploration of domestic abuse and rape. Note that this book has problematic aspects, particularly with respect to blaming women for not getting themselves out of abusive relationships.
  • Under Saturn’s Shadow, the wounding and healing of men – James Hollis
  • Ursula Le Guin’s collected works: sci-fi classics from a feminist, anarchist perspective. Particularly recommended is The Left Hand of Darkness (challenges notions of gender) and The Dispossessed (exploration of leftist/anarchist politics)
